BioHaving represented Ward 10 for the past 7 years and the former Ward 3, Stoney Creek, for 9 years I am confident I have the knowledge and ability to continue to represent Ward 10. I have lived in the area for over 26 years. Getting involved in the community on issues and volunteering when I retired to raise our family.

I have worked very hard to get Ward 10 and Stoney Creek its fair share of services. Sitting on 4 of 6 standing committees and over 20 subcommittees has allowed me to be a very strong voice for Stoney Creek. I have worked closely with staff on residents issues, earning their respect and support along with my Council colleagues.

Having worked in the legal field for 11 years and before that a pharmaceutical assistant before becoming a homemaker has given me a wealth of knowledge to make informed decisions. Also, sitting on Planning Committee and working on many different by-laws both in Stoney Creek and Hamilton has given me the opportunity to know the history of the regulations and assist residents on a daily basis when issues arise.

I continue to pursue upgrades in the community and address ongoing safety issues along with working very hard to hold the line on tax increases. I continue to encourage efficient services, commercial and industrial growth, public interest in our community and heritage and to keep our community a safe place to live.

Do you support Hamilton's LRT proposal? If so, what will you do to ensure Hamilton's success in building LRT? If not, why do you oppose it? Yes Yes, emphatically, yes! I support LRT. I believe Hamilton missed the opportunity in the 80's and we cannot have this happen again. We need to keep pushing Hamilton forward.
Is Hamilton doing enough to support and encourage new investment in our older neighbourhoods? If not, what should the City be doing? Yes Hamilton Economic Development team is doing the best it can to encourage new investment in our older neighbourhoods. Further incentives, programs, etc. can always be brought forward and reviewed by Council.
