Should we spend the Future Fund to build a Pan Am / Ticat stadium on the CP Rail Yard lands? Why or why not? No Pan Am Stadium should have just stayed where it was. Now if it really goes to CP Rail, the taxpayers will be paying a lot more money for this stadium because Bob Young won't be paying a lot more than whatever he offers and All Levels of Government isn't going to pay anymore then they have offered already.

They can tear down the old one and rebuild and make parkades on either side.

Teachers can use parkade on Cannon side and the churches can use on Barton street side.
Is Hamilton doing enough to support and encourage new investment in our older neighbourhoods? If not, what should the City be doing? No Hamilton is not doing enough to support or encourage new investments as the older parts of Hamilton is still boarded up and falling down around us.

The City should be looking at ways to improve the older neighbourhoods instead of working in the new areas as they have been doing. They need to restore the history of Hamilton by restoring more old buildings.
Do you believe that poverty is the most critical issue facing Hamilton today? If so, please outline your solutions. If not, please explain your reasons. Yes Working in the school system made me see all the poverty, as I have worked in inner city schools. I cannot say if I have a solution until I meet with all the people and then we can work as a community to come up with solutions together.

I am sure my friends who live and fight poverty will be helping me along the way in finding solutions.
Many observers argue that Council meetings could be more respectful and professional. Do you agree? If so, what will you do to change this? Yes Yes, Council meeting should be more respectful and professional. I will not act like a spoiled child like the present council does and even Queens Park is trying to change their image as a lot of people are getting turned off by the presend leaders we have in power.
Will your term change people's first impression of Hamilton, and make that first impression more attractive to visitors, students, commuters and newcomers? If so, how? Yes I have tried a few times to get something changed here.

Prince George B.C. has a good working program to clean up the city and park benches throughout the city.

I asked my sister what all the groups of people were doing? Her reply was that everyone that lived in the city has to clean up their own part of their community.
There is no litter around, buildings clean, people in the jail makes outdoor furniture for around the city and it works there so why not here.
you have to be proud of your city to do your own small part.
Hamilton's Cycling Master Plan has Council approval. However, the implementation timeline is very long and ward councillors can block individual bike lane projects. Do you support accelerating the completion of a continuous bicycle network and other initiatives like a bike sharing program and better access up and down the Escarpment? Why or why not? Yes I support Hamilton's Cycling Master Plan.
For your campaign, will you be accepting donations from corporations or unions? If so, why? If not, why not? No No corporations or unions. I have not asked to give money, and I have been a union member for years.

I can not take money from either as I want to work for the people instead.
The City of Hamilton has committed to doubling transit ridership by 2020. Do you support this goal? If so, how would you realize it? Yes I gave my car away in the Red Hill Valley Struggle and let my licence expire as I believe in practice what I preach, Don MacLean also gave up his car and use a bike as where I take public transit or walk. That is two people....now let's see how many other people can do that?
Council is poised to vote on the Airport Employment Growth District, a 3,000 acre plan to expand the urban boundary around Hamilton International Airport for employment lands. Do you support this plan? Why or why not? No I would rather they use the brownfields than use our precious farmland as we need to start growing our own food again here.
Some cities have committed recently to publishing their public data in an open format that citizens can directly access. Should Hamilton pledge to become an "open source city"? Why or why not? Yes Yes Hamilton should become an "open source city " for the citizens to see what is going on. This will give the citizens an opportunity to see how transparent city hall and staff is in spending the tax money and also see the waste that is going on. We should be accountable to the citizens of Hamilton.
Do you support Hamilton's LRT proposal? If so, what will you do to ensure Hamilton's success in building LRT? If not, why do you oppose it? Yes The LRT is a long time in coming here and I would love to see it materialize instead of just talking about it, as it works very well in the West where I came from.
