|Hamilton has been experiencing a slow-motion crisis in housing affordability. Do you support an expanded role for the City to provide more affordable housing? If so, what should Hamilton do? If not, why not?||Yes||Yes ofcourse, the simplest way to develop our city is to develop it ourselves instead of continuing to loaning money with no interest rate and no return mandate. The rich continue to take taxpayers money to develop their business empire, promising lower income housing solution than screwing over the city by selling them to their friends and not paying back the money that was loaned to them in the first place. That ends the moment I become mayor. The fact they didn't live up to their obligations the money should have been good the minute the build got sold. I just don't understand how our current government continues to allow this.|
|Do you support improved public transit in Hamilton? If so, what changes do you propose? If not, why not?||Yes||My first order of business is to reject the LRT and see if Doug Ford is a man of his word, and allow our city to keep the 600 plus million dollars to improve our transit system. We keep our already established transit system and improve upon it instead of letting metro one take what we already made.|
|Hamilton has a legacy of multi-lane, one-way arterial streets dating back to the 1950s. Do you support accelerating the conversion of these streets to two-way? Why or why not?||No||No I don't support acceleration of converting something that's been working since the 1950's, just to confuse a bunch of people and make the rich even richer|
|The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act mandates that cities must be completely accessible by 2025. What changes would you make to ensure Hamilton complies with this mandate?||Yes||Simply pass a law that all new construction and already existing construction has to have disability accessability.|
|Since the 1950s, most new residential and commercial development in Hamilton has been single-use suburban sprawl. Do you believe Hamilton needs to concentrate new development within the already-built area? Why or why not?||Yes||Yes I believe we need to continue developing within our already developed areas, farmers are important resources to help our city grow. We need farmer to want to stay farmers. Its not easy to be a farmer but they are a very important part of make Hamilton a city that can stand on its own and flourish. We have plenty of already abandoned or condemned builds in Hamilton, that can still repurpose, we can't allow ourselves to go down the same path as Torontonians, we need to build wisely and effectively instead of build till their no where else to build. Hamilton must become a leader instead of following things that don't work in first place.|
|Council has voted dozens of times since 2008 to advance Hamilton's light rail transit (LRT) project, including voting to submit the plan with a full funding request to the Province in 2013, and voting to accept full funding and implementation from the Province in 2015. Do you support completing the LRT plan? Why or why not?||No||I think I've written enough about the LRT already.
I am 1 million prevent against it. It doesn't work in Toronto why would we want it here.
|Global warming is an existential challenge facing humanity. Do you think Hamilton should play a role in addressing climate change? If so, what should the city be doing? If not, why not?||Yes||Yes we all need to take responsibility for the role we play in global warming, starting with larger fines for companies like steelco And defasco who contribute to most of that problem. Taxpayers pay a higher carbon tax than, the companies, meanwhile we product it go to and from work. Company contribute on a daily basis. How does that make any sense to our current government?|
|Do you support phasing out area rating for transit? Why or why not?||Yes||I'm completely against phasing out the area rating program for transit. How can we improve upon our transit if we don't know the problems|
|Should Hamilton be trying to attract more young people to live, work and start businesses here, including the 60,000 students studying at Mohawk College, McMaster University and Redeemer University? If so, what should we be doing? If not, why not?||Yes||Of course I want the youth of tomorrow to continue to live here in Hamilton.I plan to start programs like osap to help our youth met their potential, by helping them afford college or university. Understand I plan to do this for ppl who were born here or have lived here most their lives. I don't plan on solving other cities problems, and this program will only be offer to students who go to either Mohawk college or McMaster. But before all that I have to fix the already damaged inforstructure.|
|Bonus question: If LRT goes ahead, what will you do to ensure Hamilton receives the maximum benefit?||No|
|Do you support the "Vision Zero" goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries in Hamilton? If so, what specific actions would you take to implement this policy? If not, why not?||Yes||Yes, I support vision zero. I plan to release an app that will allow anyone to snap a photo of anyone talking or texting while operating a motored vechile. Before their were vicheles everywhere only the rich could afford to drive, as they became more affordable, ppl got killed by these vechiles, just because simple the rich thought and still think their lives are more important than ours. It didn't happen back then but it will happen now, no matter who you are. If u live or drive in Hamilton weather you are pulled over by the bacon or are reported anonymously the APP a person will receive the minimum fine of a one month without driving privileges and a fine equal to of their vechile being impounded for that month. Why do u think, people from different countries in our world don't steal? Especially after losing their hand. We need stricter laws.|
