Bio	Bio: I drive a cab in Hamilton. I have lived here most of my life. I have run in 3 previous elections... Leeds-Grenville, 1984 - federal. Willowdale, 1988 - federal and Hamilton West, 1995 - provincial, 2011 - provincial. I am currently 60 years old. I have always been a libertarian but when I was 20 I read "Capitalism: the Unknown Ideal," by Ayn Rand. That book really blew me away by filling in a lot of the blanks for me. The rest is history. Why Are You Running?: After the 1995 provincial election I decided I was not going to waste any more time putting myself on the political menu for a population who obviously were not remotely interested in the ideas of liberty. Since the advent of the internet, however, I have seen an explosion in the spread of libertarian ideas. Though I do not expect to see a libertarian elected at this time in Ontario, I would like to see the party run as many candidates as possible and see if there is any upward bump in votes. More people seem to be waking up to the futility of expecting any real solutions from the "Statist Quo." Perhaps the hour of liberty is nigh. Your Top Issue: Limited Government Issue Details: Government, throughout history, has shown itself to be nothing more than a destructive, murderous, larcenous and deceitful criminal enterprise whose impact utterly dwarfs the damage done by isolated, freelance criminals. It grows like a cancer as it tightens it's choke chain on the population. It is time for the people to struggle free of the choke chain and put it right back where it belongs.... around the neck of the state. Given the opportunity, I would like nothing more than to give that choke chain a good hard pull. As Alex Jones has said, "The answer to 1984 is 1776."

Should the province play a role in encouraging safer streets that promote more active transportation like walking and cycling?	No	This is a dishonest question. It's like asking you if you still beat your wife. Before answering, therefore I would like to translate the question into what is really being asked. "Do you support the coninuing war against the ownership and use of the private automobile by a massive campaign of road strangulation, two-way streets, proliferation of stop-signs and stop-lights and wasteful reallocation of useful road space in favour of bike lanes for crackheads?" No. I do not support the war on the private automobile. It is driven by the deep envirocommunist wish to reverse the fantastically successful capitalist model which has brought previously unimaginable improvements in the standard of living to millions of ordinary people.
Do you support the proposal to build a new mid-Peninsula highway?	No	Until the province gets it's astronomical debt ( $295.8 Billion) paid off I do not support the discussion of any new massive spending projects. Ultimately, I would like to see Government Incorporated monopoly enterprises completely dismantled and replaced by a truly democratic system of consumer sovereignty. The current system of coercive government monopoly provision of goods and services should be replaced by a system of direct democracy where the people rule. The only true and workable system of direct democracy is that where the people vote, not with ballots, but with dollars. Their "representatives" would no longer be lying, manipulative, bullying politicians, but the people who are actually willing to put their own money where their mouths are, I.E. capitalists.
Do you support allowing Ontario residents to appeal to the Ontario Ombudsman with respect to municipalities, universities, school boards, hospitals, nursing homes and long-term care facilities, police and children's aid societies (the MUSH sector)?	Yes	Finally a question I can answer "yes" to. And if the voters choose not to send me to Queen's Park on June 12 I hope to be considered to occupy that ombudsman position.
Do you support maintaining or expanding the protection of farmland and rural natural land from urban boundary expansions?	No	I do not support any ideologically driven attempts by politicians and their rent seeking cronies to manipulate the allocation of land. Instead I would support market based direct democracy where the people decide how to allocate rural and urban boundaries. This process would occur naturally via the combination of mutually agreed buying and selling decisions involving only those with a direct and compelling interest in the outcome. (I.E. Those spending their own money.)

Do you accept the evidence of human-caused global warming? If so, what policy measures do you support to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? If not, why not?	No	The whole AGW project is nothing more than a massive hoax perpetrated by the clingers-on to the fully discredited central planning model of economic and social organization. (I.E. Communism.) Therefore, I do not support any policies to reduce greenhouse gases. Furthermore, even if it were true that man made CO2 emissions are causing the planet to heat up, it's by no means certain that the results would be catastrophic. They might even be beneficial. For example, plant life is known to thrive in a CO2 rich environment. Finally, the notion that a bunch of conniving politicians and their cronies could be trusted to successfully engineer an optimal climate for the planet is simply laughable. They can't even properly fix the roads.
The Ontario School Funding Formula currently incentivizes local school boards to neglect and close neighbourhood schools. Do you support keeping neighbourhood schools open? If so, how?	No	I would support a gradual abolition of the Government Incorporated coercive "education" monopoly over a period of fifty years to allow the population to adjust to market based education solutions. Education is too important to be left under the control of politicians and their self-serving cronies.
Do you support Hamilton's plan to build an east-west light rail transit line with full provincial capital funding? If so, how will you ensure the project is funded?	No	I remain, as a matter of principle, opposed to any and all forms of government monopoly business enterprises. I especially dislike public mass transit for its idealization of Soviet style cattle car herding of the public as though they are nothing more than livestock.
