Yes I believe that we are at peak oil. However, we would not do anything about it. That is to say, we don't believe that the government should interfere. As the price of oil rises, there should be more incentive for people to use other types of energy sources. I also think that a higher market price for oil is better for the environment anyway. |

We would not interfere in any transactions between purchaser and seller. We need to be inviting foreign investment into Canada. Our party is all about letting people do what they want as long as they don't infringe on the rights of others. We feel that if a person buys a business, they should have the right to hire or fire whomever they please. |

Yes, I believe that human action is behind global warming. I don't feel that the government does a very good job of regulating the environment. I am more encouraged when I see individuals in my community choosing to be more "green". I also like that people seem to be buying more hybrid cars. This might be more of a reaction to the high price of oil than anything else. It is still good, though. |

Our party does not discriminate based on job type. We would not come up with some sort of "manufacturing jobs" plan. However, we would make Canada a very attractive place for business people and entrepreneurs to invest. We would have almost no business tax and very few rules. If a business deals honestly, provides a safe work environment, and is environmentally prudent, there should be no other red tape for business to deal with. That type of business environment would encourage a lot of investment. |

I'm not very educated on the matter, but isn't the federal government spending $30 million on it? Also, I understand that the provincial and municipal governments are chipping in too. So really I don't know if that is "enough". I'm surprised that the companies that polluted the area are not responsible for cleaning it up. |

I think that the action of the police force during the G20 is despicable. However, I doubt that a full public inquiry would produce much if any information that would be useful. I think the better solution is to work on strengthening our constitution to allow for improved freedoms. Our constitution is littered with the word "reasonable". To say that we have freedom of speech "within reason" means that we really don't have free speech. Who gets to decide what is reasonable? It is the same with all other rights. Libertarians believe in protecting an individual's right to assemble. |
