|Election||Federal Election 2011|
|Party||Conservative Party of Canada|
|Bio||Terry Anderson is a former Hamilton city and regional councillor (Ward 7, 1991-2000), a successful small business owner, father of two grown children and grandfather of two. He brings the energy, experience, and passion for community that Hamilton Mountain needs in their Member of Parliament. Terry has lived in Hamilton his entire life, devoting countless hours to community groups and volunteer organizations.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative government created the Economic Action Plan to challenge the worst economic situation in decades. With the Prime Minister’s strong leadership, Canada emerged from economic turmoil in an enviable position with expansion and job creation taking place across the country.
At the same time, Hamilton Mountain has not had a voice in Ottawa that speaks directly to decision-makers and who can get the job done. Hamilton Mountain needs an experienced, compassionate community-oriented Member of Parliament who understands what it takes to run a small business, raise a family, and work together with Mountain residents to make the community a better place. As your Conservative candidate, Terry is ready to lead our community back to prominence in Ottawa and be the MP who can deliver real results for you and your family.
Terry believes in keeping taxes low, keeping our streets safe, and working together with the community to deliver for Hamilton Mountain. If we have learned anything since the last election, it is that an MP in opposition cannot get the job done for you and your family. The residents of Hamilton Mountain deserve more from their MP than partisan mail-outs and voting against key pieces of legislation. It’s time for Hamilton Mountain to join the Conservative government and for an MP who shares your concern for the economy, jobs, and your family’s safety.
