| Bio | * I plan on running for two terms, if elected, as the WARD 3 Alderman.
* Politicians often use this as a platform for further advancement in the political world. I plan on using all my energy and resources for only the two terms in which I will run for. * I plan on donating the salary from this elected bureaucratic position to WARD 3 and to the people of WARD 3. I challenge all the alderman to do the same. * I see no reason why an elected municipal city counsellor need to accept a salary to hold this position. * I would have liked to see on the ballot an option to vote for the LRT. * I personally would like to see this money allocated for the betterment of the city such as for affordable housing and roads and services for residential and businesses. I would like to reduce taxes for the residents and businesses within WARD 3 and within the city limits of Hamilton. That's my mandate. * I want to see the term for counsellors limited to 2 terms. This would offer new eyes, new perspectives and bring fresh ideas to the city as a whole. |
