BioJohn Vail has lived in the riding of Hamilton Centre for 13 years. He worked in the Commercial Real Estate field for the past 27 years as a former Realtor.

Prior to real estate, John worked for the Ministry of Community and Social Services. He also worked as Director of Finance of a Major Publishing Company, He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant and articled at a major Canadian Accounting Firm.

John has a BA from the University of Toronto and Executive Designations from McMaster University as a Chartered Director, Audit Committee Certified, and Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certified.

His extensive volunteer service in the community includes Board Chair of a United Way, a Real Estate Board, and a Condominium Corporation and other volunteer organizations. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Business Development Committee, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Connections Committee.

Do you support allowing Ontario residents to appeal to the Ontario Ombudsman with respect to municipalities, universities, school boards, hospitals, nursing homes and long-term care facilities, police and children's aid societies (the MUSH sector)? Maybe Thanks for the questions but in my opinion they are better directed to municipal candidates as the questions relate directly to municipal issues and not to provincial issues which are jobs, the provincial economy, the provincial deficit, provincial debt reduction, and lower provincial taxes
