BioA respected member of her community, Katie Trombetta has long been dedicated to ensuring the residents of Niagara West have access to key public services, such as health care, education and clean water.

Katie served two terms as an Alderman in the Township of West Lincoln being elected as Mayor for three consecutive terms.

Katie was also appointed as a Regional Councillor and served on several different committees and boards on issues of community planning, public health and local infrastructure.

Katie proved she could be trusted to guide local assets through major transition periods. As the former Chairman of Niagara Peninsula Utilities, Katie performed an integral role in the merging of local energy corporations to provide better service and coverage to the residents of Niagara.

As the President of West Lincoln Youth Soccer and the Director of Niagara Youth Soccer, Katie dedicates her free time to helping our youngest generations develop the values and confidence they will need to succeed. She regularly takes the time to coach soccer games and nurture our community’s future.

Katie and her family have been residents in the Niagara West Region for 28 years, and they have a long involvement in local agriculture. Katie is also a member of the Ontario Sheep Growers Association.
