BioAs an experienced adjudicator, Don Sheppard knows his way around dispute resolution and is a skilled interpreter of legislation. A former carpenter and Local Union President, Don ran as a PC candidate in 1995 and is eager to again represent Hamilton Centre under Tim Hudak’s leadership.

Married to his wife Earla for almost 22 years, Don is also a member of the Army, Navy and Airforce Club. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, is a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators, and has an Alternate Dispute Resolution (Negotiation/Meditation) Certificate.

As an adjudicator, Don is experienced in dispute resolution, evidence evaluation and has an excellent ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation. His career has led him to successful dealings with all levels of government in both bureaucratic and political areas and makes him familiar with the legislative process.

Don believes that Ontario has the potential to again be the engine that drives Canada. Disturbed by how the McGuinty government has driven the province into a “have-not” position, Don committed to be part of the Tim Hudak, Ontario PC team committed to getting our province back on track.
